Hope and Change for Haiti, in partnership with Dorcas International and through the initiative "We Are One Rhode Island - WER1", seeks to support members in the Haitian Community or other communities in Rhode Island who are affected financially by Covid-19.

Eligible applicants will receive a fixed amount of $400 prepaid no fee debit card within 2-3 weeks that they can use for their most urgent financial needs. To be eligible to receive this fund, applicant: - Must be a Rhode Island resident - Can be undocumented - Has no or low income - Has lost income as a result of COVID-19 - Identifies a need for rent, food, or basic needs - Is not receiving any government assistance (Federal Stimulus, unemployment, Social Security, SNAP Food Benefits, ...)
