Supporting and Celebrating Women in 2020: That’s what we do
We are thrilled to invite you to join us at the International Women’s Day celebration to honor women in our state. This year, we are pleased to honor two women who have worked and devoted themselves to protect women’s rights. The event will be held on Friday, March 6th, 2020 at 3:30- 5:30 at the state house.
This year’s theme is: Each for Equal: Fighting bias for an inclusive community.
At this event, our speakers will emphasize the urgency to acknowledge bias and racism against black people, particularly its impact on black women, and to draw some insights to tackle them in order to ease the path to an authentic inclusive community.
